So a couple more Christmas movies...The first one is Elf and the second is It's a Wonderful Life. I absolutely love these movies! I watch them every year during the Christmas season and sometimes more than that!
In my opinion, every part of Christmas is the best part. But today, my favorite part of Christmas is going to be movies. No matter how many times you watch a Christmas movie, no matter how well you can recite by memory (and sing the entire soundtrack), and no matter how well you know the characters, watching it again is just like watching it the first time. I. Love. Christmas. Movies. I will make a post on these two animated movies, and I will make a post on live movies another day. Here are two classics you must watch before your family Christmas:
Charlie Brown's Christmas
Now this is what I call a classic!
Place candy canes in a plastic bag and hammer into 1/4-inch chunks or smaller. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Combine candy cane chunks with chocolate (add peppermint flavoring at this point if desired.) Pour mixture onto a cookie sheet layered with parchment or waxed paper and place in the refrigerator for 45 minutes or until firm. Remove from cookie sheet and break into pieces (like peanut brittle.)
Peppermint Coffee Creamer:
This stuff is amazing!
This is perfect to put in coffee....and if you dont like peppermint, there are tons of flavors that Coffee-Mate makes
Peppermint Oreos: You can buy these at Walmart, and they taste great!!
Finally! Christmas is just around the corner! My favorite part of the holidays? Christmas music! Here are a few songs I love, I will continue to post songs for every day of the month until Christmas!
